Loading ...I personally often have questions that people around me cannot answer. That is when I turn to Forums. Well, I had a lot of finance-related question, and after digging trough Google’s search results I stumbled upon a great websites. A bunch of them, I should say.
OurCommunityPower.org is a coalition of 4 different communities: Debt, Mortgage, Credit and Insurance. The website is stuffed with useful articles, calculators and a bunch of other things. I have already registered in 3 of the communities and the members that post there a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The Debt community has partnered with a debt counseling service that gives free consultations to forum members.
And another plus: ever felt that you should be rewarded for posting - well, at OurCommunityPower.org you actually get paid to write! Each of the Forums there has its own point system, which automatically calculates your rewards and displays them in your profile. You can request your rewards to be sent by PayPal just by sending an email to the admins. A word of note - posting gibberish proved not to work, since the moderator’s team is pretty big and experienced 
Something that made a huge impression on me was a post, where a forum member was saying that it is impossible for her to handle her financial situation anymore. In minutes, the topic was full of posters, who were donating their hardly earned points to the member in trouble. That was just something that I wish I could see more often.

It dosent suprise me at all that you were attacked on DebtConsolidationCare. The Queen Witch over there thinks she knows everything and she knows Crapola/ You were being kind to the vultures more than they deserved thats for sure.Stay Away from them your better off.

Yes, I was definitely surprised by their reaction. I believe that the community there is very nice except of couple of posters who just cannot accept anything else besides their narrow views. I see that many have understood my point of outlook and what I was trying to say here.

They did this before to the actual backbone of that forum. They accused them of stealing points. It was a crazy mess.The one that nailed you was after them with her goons. She talks about having a job… LOL How does she stay on the computer all day?Man I would like to have a job like that. The girls that actually knew something started their own forum. Thats where I would go. They will welcome you there. Take Care and Beware of those people. This is an excellent blog. Very Good

I see absolutely nothing wrong here. You have done an excellent job. As for the croonies that are bashing you at Debt Consolidation Care are nothing more than blowhards. The person that had the guts to start the bashing (Goudah) has alot of room to talk. She has given alot of incorrect information. Complains because people cut and paste their posts. She does the exact same thing! She thinks she is all that in a handbasket, but in all actuality she is nothing more than a nosy thinks she knows everything.
Keep up the good work on your blog! I will keep checking back to see the updates.

I am monitoring that topic and I can see that a lot of people already have posted positively about it. I hope that everybody there calms down a bit and re-reads my post. I think Ill stay in the forum there for now. I have learned a lot and I really do enjoy helping people in need.

Debtconsolidationcare.com is the best site ever. The members there know what’s up and really care about one another. Goudah is one of the smartest posters on there and I don’t know why she is getting bashed other than people are just downright jealous of her. She has done tons of research and really knows her stuff. If I were you I would be careful where I got my information from. The people that bash debtcc because they got banned from there claim they know so much yet they actually give out crappy advice and think they know everything.

I just wanted to say to Amber. I am one of the members that was banned from over there. I am not jealous of anyone. I also do not have to hide behind posts.I found this blog the other day doing a search on debt. This was very good in my opinion. There was a typo but everybody makes them. Lighten up people. LIFE is to short to be acting like no one is right but you. I am not always right and I dont claim to be. Keep your chin up and keep up the good work.Debt is a major issue in this country. And I fear its going to get worse. Thanks

I came across this site doing a search. I decided to read the comments from others regarding it. However, I am seeing negative comments regarding someone being attacked by another site? Where are these comments coming from? I see nothing on here saying anything about being attacked by another site. I am confused. Thank you.

The post about ourcommunity.org for some reason sparked some very negative comments from posters at debtconsolidationcare.com. Two or more of their moderators have posted insults against “stefan” who seems to be the owner of this blog. I personally cannot understand their plain negativity towards a person that has taken his time to write something nice about them. That is just plain stupid to me.
Stefan. your blog is very nice. I suggest you quit wasting your time with that forum. What you are doing here is good and I will be visiting this website again. Keep up the good work! :):):)

Amen to that! You are doing a wonderful thing here. I clicked on your link to that site. and OMG. What did you do so wrong, you gave these folks kudos and they attack you on a thread? That is a shame. Keep up the good work, looks like you have a cult following and it is growing. Congrats!

DCC is famously known for banning people or berating them to the point of no return. Its a clique and the two that were banned this summer ran and formed their own clique on the other side of the playground. Myself I stand by the monkey bars and watch the entertainment. I ended up on DCC because of payday loans, it helped me realize that 4 loans were not the end of the world and I figured out how to rid myself of them. I got caught up in trying to help people there and then was bashed from left to right for my actions, so I left. I lurk there and now will lurk on the other site to watch the entertainment. I did learn not to get another PDL not sure if everyone learns the first time. No debt here anymore just a friggin mortgage up to my earlobes
